The university will be built in memory of Maharishi Kanva Swami Jayant Saraswati has spent a lot of time researching the history of one of the great pioneers of India’s spiritual culture, spiritualist and educationist – Maharishi Kanva, Chakravarti King Bharat, and Mahakavi Kalidas. The splendid period of our ancestors appears like a constellation that fell from the sky. It is beyond any doubt that the future of the present cannot get the desired direction by forgetting the past. After thinking deeply about this, Swami ji took a resolution of teaching at the holy land of Maharishi Kanva that according to him is the Mahayagya of study. It is widely known that during the time of Maharishi Kanva, thousands of Rishikumars used to study various subjects in the huge university located on the banks of Malini. It is believed that the famous Sanskrit poet Kalidas composed his masterpiece ‘Abhigyan Shakuntalam’ at this particular place only Yogiraj Swami Jayant Saraswati established the Vedic Ashram Gurukul Kanvashram to revive the same ancient golden period of education. He harbours the dream of having the upcoming university counted amongst the top premier league universities of the world. He has a firm belief that his dream will definitely come true with the joint efforts put in by the social workers, the who’s who of the society, and the government support from time to time. Yogiraj has all the plans in place to rebuild a state-of-the-art university on the lines of Kanva Rishi’s Vidyapeeth in ancient times. He is working tirelessly to fulfill this mission.
